Six events, and what they returned

Every figure on this page comes from an event YONDA produced and distributed. Where a result was driven by a specific mechanism, we have said which one.

Oracle Red Bull Racing

F1 car launch · 2022 & 2023

The fans launched the car

Red Bull asked how they could cut through a crowded Formula One calendar with a car launch. We suggested giving the launch to the fans.

The brief

Launch the 2022 F1 car in the most creative way possible, reach audiences beyond the existing fanbase, and cut through a marketplace where every team launches within the same fortnight.

What we did

Fans applied to co-host the launch on their own channels. Each version was customised to their location, their preferred driver and the aspects of the team they cared about, then streamed simultaneously from a single feed. Over 33,000 people applied to take part.

Unity 22, against Wimbledon and the Euros

A first fully-crewed spaceflight with Richard Branson on board, landing on the busiest sporting weekend of the British summer.

The brief

Deliver maximum impact for the global launch event of Unity 22's first fully-crewed flight, cutting through Wimbledon and the European Football Championship to hit a mass audience simultaneously.

What we did

We identified 78 global brand channels to carry the stream, customising each version for language, location and platform across Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, Twitch and web.

EDC, taken to where the fans already were

The world's biggest electronic music festival wanted to be bigger than the site it stood on.

The brief

Entertain a global fanbase for whom the physical event is not enough. The question EDC brought us was simply: how do we make big, bigger?

What we did

A decentralised solution that turned a live-only festival into a curated digital experience across 87 channels, taking the festival to the platforms EDM fans already use rather than asking them to come to one stream.

Beatport

Beatport · Creamfields 2024

Three stages, broadcast continuously, all weekend

The UK's most prominent electronic dance festival, distributed across 294 destinations with a branded output for the headline sponsor.

The brief

Showcase the festival and every artist performing across the three-day weekend for our longstanding partner Beatport, while giving prominent brand partners a customised branded stream of their own.

What we did

Three stages broadcast concurrently across the weekend with a unique branded output for the main drinks sponsor, cloud-based streaming production throughout, and one-off sets including Calvin Harris, Chase & Status and the UK debut of Robbie Williams' dance project.

Future Publishing

Future Publishing · 2023 series

Future Games Show, in six more languages

A successful show that needed to grow past the English-speaking audience that made it successful.

The brief

After a strong 2022 series, Future Publishing wanted to hold the momentum and extend the show into new audiences for 2023 without diluting what worked.

What we did

Alongside the English livestream, YONDA produced customised versions in Mandarin, Korean, Japanese, Spanish, French and German, distributed via the YONDA console to 35 distribution points and shared onward by co-hosts through their own channels.

Xbox

Gamescom 2022 · with Bethesda

Four days, eleven languages, sign language included

A continuous multi-day broadcast built so that accessibility and localisation were outputs of the same run, not separate productions.

The brief

Return to Gamescom with significant impact across the full Thursday-to-Sunday window, keeping fans engaged for the duration rather than around a single keynote.

What we did

Broadcasts delivered in partnership with Xbox and Bethesda in 11 languages, including sign languages and audio description, with customised moments per channel and continuous production across all four days.
